About AIFEG
AIFEG Private Office represents clients during their most significant purchase decisions—bringing together more than thirty years of experience, specialist expertise, commercial oversight and long-term accountability, on behalf of one party only: the client.
Who We Are
AIFEG is a private office retained by principals and institutions to represent them in decisions of consequence. We provide acquisition strategy, adviser and provider selection, commercial evaluation, negotiation support, governance, execution oversight, and long-term stewardship.
AIFEG is presented as an institution rather than an individual. Engagements are held to a firm standard, not to a personality, and the record of how each decision was reached belongs to the client.
Our Experience
The professionals behind AIFEG have collectively managed billions of dollars in organisational spend and directed strategic sourcing initiatives across Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit institutions, healthcare organisations, higher education, and complex capital programmes—delivering measurable value through disciplined procurement, supplier strategy, commercial negotiation, and acquisition governance.
That work was governed: competitive process, documented judgment, contract discipline, and accountability to a board. AIFEG brings the same standard to acquisitions undertaken privately, where the sums are comparable and the governance is frequently absent.
Our Background
Representation draws on capability rather than category. The following describes the collective experience held within the firm.
Leading and advising on complex acquisitions, capital projects, and sourcing programmes.
Price, scope, warranty, remedies, and change control negotiated as one structure.
Competitive process, evaluation discipline, and a defensible decision record.
Property, technical assets, and services, held on behalf of the buyer alone.
Multi-year programmes from feasibility through delivery and stewardship.
Counsel, brokers, architects, engineers, and contractors working to one objective.
Who We Work With
AIFEG works with private clients, principals, entrepreneurs, executives and institutions facing purchase decisions where the financial commitment, complexity or long-term consequences justify dedicated representation and coordinated oversight.
Engagements typically involve purchases or capital projects of $1 million or more, although complexity, risk and the level of coordination required are equally important considerations, and most involve multiple professional, technical or commercial disciplines.
Why AIFEG Was Created
In large organisations, a purchase of consequence is governed: requirements are defined independently, options are tested, terms are negotiated by someone whose only client is the organisation, and the decision is documented. Private acquisitions of the same magnitude often have none of that structure.
AIFEG was created to supply it—one party accountable for coordinating the acquisition as a whole, and for the years that follow it.
AIFEG coordinates the whole acquisition. Each specialist remains responsible for their own discipline.
See how we workOur Principles
These are not statements of intent. They are the obligations AIFEG accepts in writing before any engagement begins, and against which any engagement may be judged.
01
AIFEG accepts no commissions, referral fees, rebates, or supplier incentives, and holds no preferred-vendor relationships. The only party who pays us is the party we represent.
02
Compensation is agreed in writing before work begins and comes exclusively from the client. We hold no economic interest in whether a transaction proceeds.
03
Price, scope, schedule, warranty, remedies, and change control are negotiated as one commercial structure, tested against total cost of ownership rather than headline price.
04
Engagements are confidential by default and obligations are permanent. Nothing is published, named, or referenced without written client instruction.
05
Completion is a milestone, not an outcome. We remain available afterwards, so institutional memory of an acquisition stays with the client.
The first discussion establishes whether coordinated oversight is warranted. Where it is not, we will say so plainly.
